Flooring Done Right!

No matter what your flooring selection, if it’s your basement you are renovating, you want it to be warm and not feel like a basement.  Most contractors simply put down whatever flooring choice you decide upon without giving extra thought to or providing advice on this critical step.  Klassen Advanced Renovations takes careful precaution to prepare your floor for whatever your selection, ensuring the warmest possible floor.  For example, we exceed expectations by installing Schlüter®-DITRA polyethylene membrane onto your floor prior to laying down tile in order to prevent cracking.  This ensures not only a beautiful floor, but one that is built to last.  It's the details that you don't see that make Klassen Advanced Renovations your best choice for top quality.

With the enormous amount of choice available today, making up your mind about what type of flooring to use can seem like a daunting task.  More often that not, comfort and practicality are key considerations.  Will the area be a primary living space where you want a very cozy, durable carpet?  Is it a home office or gym that you have planned?  Would a wood floor or laminate be better suited?

Your budget has to be considered as well.  The cost of flooring options is as varied as the options themselves.  A less expensive laminate (wood or vinyl) can be an option for areas that will be exposed to heavy traffic or where you want to keep dust and dirt down such as a home gym.   A soft carpet or high-end wood floor might be your choice for the spaces that are your main living areas, such as a master bedroom or family room.  We can help guide you in making these decisions.

Consider these options when determining your flooring choice:
